In a convenient, it's like disco dancing; you're both moving to the music, approximately together, approximately in synch -- but if one falls down, the other doesn't. Mike and I have chosen to waltz -- we are willing to give up (some of) our individual independence to be what Pat Allen calls UNdependent -- we depend on each other in a way convenient partners choose not to. I like to know where I am with a man. All this manipulative, sneaky stuff really freaks me out. Being able to communicate in a straightforward manner without all this strange dancing about suits me much better.
